Technological developments observed due to scientific developments based on individual and social requirements have led to several changes. This contribution had an impact on several aspects of human life, as well as education. The most significant developments include the design, development and utilization of technology-based learning environments, the use of technology-assisted three-dimensional instructional methods and techniques, technological tools, equipment and material. As long as the humans prevail, the above-mentioned change would continue in education. This book, developed based on this perspective, was based on the analysis of technological tools, equipment and material utilized in educational environments in social studies education. Furthermore, the visual symbols used in social studies education, digital literacy and the reflections of information age technological leadership on social studies education were analyzed and presented in detail.
