St.Nicholas Church Demre - Myra

Wall painting from the parekklesion of the St. Nicholas Church, a scene from the life cycle of St. Nicholas, in which the Saint appears in a dream to Ablabios, Governor of Constantiople. The bearded figure seated on the left represents Ablabios, his hands raised in supplication. Facing him are St. Nicholas, his right hand raised in blessing, and another, unidentified saint with both hands held out towards Ablabios.
